HARRISBURG, Pa.— The Library has teamed up with four local breweries to bring you Books and Brews, a toast-worthy fundraising event held Friday, July 20 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at the McCormick Riverfront Library, 101 Walnut St, Harrisburg.
Tickets are $25.00 and include beer tastings by The Millworks, Boneshire Brew Works, Zero Day Brewing Company and Wolf Brewing Company, light fare Biergarden Bites, live Celtic music by The Blarney Tomes, and a tasting glass. There will also be an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win a variety of raffle prizes donated by local businesses.
Tickets can be ordered online at dcls.org/beer or by picking up an order form available at all eight libraries. Proceeds from ticket sales and raffle ticket sales benefit The Library.
